My Science Inquiry 2021
By Miihaea
Ty and Mason and I are learning how does the moon make tides.
We started gathering our answers to our questions on a google doc and changed to a google slide because it was easier.
My questions were:
What are tides?
How does the moon make tides?
The 3 most interesting things I learnt :
- Tides are caused by the gravitational forces exerted on the earth by the moon.
- The earth rotational force and gravity are the two main factors that cause high and low tides.
- We get high and low tides one or two times a day.
I decided to work with Mason and Ty because I had nobody to work with?
We decided to build a diorama to show how the sun and moon make the tides.
I am proud of I started building and painting it.
The most challenging thing was when I didn't have a buddy!
